Student accommodation
There are a variety of accommodation options to choose from - fully furnished, single or share rooms, with en-suite bathrooms and kitchenettes, onsite security, student support, common rooms and sometimes facilities such as a pool.
Rental is paid weekly and can range from A$320 - A$540 per week. This typically includes costs such as electricity, phone, internet and use of facilities. Students must contact these accommodation providers directly to make a booking.
Iglu
Iglu provides stylish student accommodation in five convenient Sydney locations within easy reach of the SIBT Sydney campus.
Iglu Broadway*, Iglu Central and Iglu Central Park* are all located in the heart of the Sydney student hub, Chippendale, and within the Kensington Street and Central Park precinct where you can immerse yourself in the buzz of cafes, shops and creative spaces. All properties are a 20-minute walk from our campus.
Located on Sydney’s vibrant, multicultural North Shore, Chatswood offers a great student lifestyle and is an easy 25-minute train ride to our campus.
Recently opened in the heart of trendy Redfern, this cutting-edge building offers a great inner-city student living experience and it’s just a 15-minute train ride and walk our campus.

Urbanest
Urbanest have four locations across central Sydney which are easily accessible to the SIBT Sydney campus, amenities and transport.
Located in the educational and cultural hub of inner-city Ultimo, it is a short walk to Broadway Shopping Centre, and near the trendy area of Glebe where there are many cafes, markets and bars.
Located in the highly sought after suburb of Haymarket, bordering Chinatown and offering shopping and Asian restaurants.
Conveniently located in Broadway and Kensington. Both locations are a short bus or train ride from SIBT Sydney campus.
Live with an Australian family (Homestay)
If you want to experience Australian culture, or seek temporary accommodation until you find a suitable place to stay, living with a local Sydney family can be a good option. It can also help you settle quickly, providing the opportunity to participate in the daily routine of an Australian family and to practice English language skills.
Homestay typically includes two-three meals per day, a furnished single bedroom generally with access to a shared family bathroom, internet access and local phone calls. Weekly costs vary between $255-$290. Additional guardianship fees exist if you are under the age of 18. Once-off placement fees also need to be paid.
