Course Information

Specially designed for international students, Foundation Studies is a university preparatory course which is equivalent to an Australian secondary school qualification.

Subject to meeting minimum grade requirements, you'll receive direct entry into the first year of a range of La Trobe University Bachelor's degrees or a corresponding La Trobe College Australia Diploma.

While studying Foundation Studies, you'll develop your academic communication and maths skills, gain subject specific knowledge and build the confidence needed to succeed at university. 

Foundation studies is a bridging course that helps international students enter the 1st year of an Undergraduate Degree in Health Sciences and Bioscience at La Trobe University.
