If you’re an international student, a Homestay is a great way to live a true Australian life, living with a local Australian family while you study. We also have temporary group accommodation for conferences, sporting events and other large gatherings. PREFERRED PARTNERSHIP PROGRAM
Griffith University has established preferred partnerships with a selection of off campus accommodation providers across its 5 campuses between Brisbane and the Gold Coast. To be included in this program, providers are inspected by University staff and are required to meet a set of performance standards that ensures quality and safety.
The majority of our partners have offered our students discounted rates on selected room types that can be accessed only by applying though the Griffith University accommodation website. Follow the link on our website that will direct you to the application process for that provider. Some sites will require you to enter a promotion code to access the discounts. If you apply directly with the accommodation provider you will not receive the discounted rates.
Various factors have been considered when selecting our partners including location, price, facilities such as communal spaces and car parking and most importantly safety. By choosing to stay at a preferred partner you will be close to your chosen campus and have access to public transport options. Some sites are only 5 minutes’ walk. You might not know, but if you are studying in Nathan or Mt Gravatt you can live in Brisbane or South Bank and only be a maximum of 30 minutes from your campus by public transport.
If you would prefer to live on campus, Griffith University has accommodation available at Nathan, Mt Gravatt and the Gold Coast. We also offer homestay accommodation for all 5 campuses.

Homestays offer international students studying at Griffith the remarkable chance to experience life within an Australian family home. SHORT STAY ACCOMMODATION
Short Stay accommodation is available at the Nathan campus for staff, students, visiting academics, sporting or school groups and general accommodation bookings. Bookings are able to be made for a time period ranging from one night to a maximum of 12 weeks.
