Admission Requirements

Entry Requirement

  • Good high school graduation grades which includes Maths.
  • You may be required to provide examples of creative work to support your application.
  • You must be 18 years old when you enrol on the course. September applicants must be 18 years old by 1st September and January applicants by 1st January.

English Requirement

  • September start

Three term programme for students with IELTS 4.5 with a minimum of 4.0 in all skills. 

  • January start

Two term programme for students with IELTS 5.0 with a minimum of 4.5 in all skills.

  • Focus on developing your academic and practical skills, while continuing to develop your English language.

Aimed at international and non-EU students, this foundation course prepares you to progress onto your chosen STEM undergraduate degree. Concentrate on improving your English language, alongside an introduction to technical computing and fundamental engineering principles, as well as strengthening mathematics. You will work in recently-refurbished facilities with opportunities for galleries, collaborative spaces and social learning.

You are assessed at the end of each module, which provides more opportunities for feedback and supports your development throughout the programme.
