Master of Counter Terrorism
AQF level 8 bachelor honours or graduate diploma qualification in a related field or recognised equivalent
or
Meet two of the following three criteria:
AQF level 7 bachelor's qualification in a related field or recognised equivalent
Minimum two years relevant approved work experience at senior management level, professional certification or other recognised prior learning
AQF level 7 bachelor's qualification or recognised equivalent with a WAM of 65
Course 2 requirements
Master of Security and Strategic Studies
AQF level 8 bachelor honours or graduate diploma qualification in a related field or recognised equivalent, or
Meet two of the following three criteria:

Academic IELTS of 6.5 overall with minimum 6.0 in each band, or equivalent.
The practice-oriented Master of Counter Terrorism will prepare you to analyse real-world counterterrorism challenges. You’ll learn about the theory and practice of counterterrorism studies; the emerging domestic, regional and international challenges related to terrorism and their implications for counterterrorism approaches and policies; and the evolution of Australia’s counterterrorism strategies and policies.
The Master of Security and Strategic Studies will prepare you to analyse contemporary security, defence and strategic challenges. You’ll learn about the dynamics behind major geopolitical and geostrategic issues, and about multidimensional non-traditional security challenges; and you’ll extend your knowledge of analytical methods to evaluate strategic choices, and the evolution of Australia’s interests and strategy.
