You'll develop professional skills in a range of key areas including petroleum engineering, gas economics, investment strategies and liabilities, workflow concepts, and current production and processing technologies. A particular focus is placed on natural gas and both its extraction and subsequent conversion to liquefied natural gas (LNG). Business-orientated units will cover the principles of project planning and project management within the managerial context of the oil and gas industry. You'll also produce a variety of written technical reports and business proposals, and participate in group projects, including a unique field hydrocarbon development design project. During your studies, you'll benefit from close interaction with our leading academics and their links to industry.
