Admission Requirements

Entry Requirement

  • Completion of a recognised Bachelor degree from a recognised higher education institution, or equivalent.

  • Students admitted to the program with a completed AQF level 7 Bachelor degree or equivalent in Business are eligible to have the volume of learning in this program reduced by 48 units.

English Requirement

IELTS (ACADEMIC)         

  • Overall score of 6.5 with minimum 6.0 in each subtest

TOEFL                     

  • Paper-based — overall score of 575 with minimum essay score of 4
    Internet-based — overall score of 86 with minimum score of 21 for writing

PEARSON TEST OF ENGLISH   

  • Overall score of 58 with no subscore less than 54

CAE/CPE                  

  • Overall score of 177 or above with no less than 169 in each skill

LANGUAGE OF INSTRUCTION ENGLISH (LOI)      

  • Minimum 2 years full-time tertiary (university level) study where the language of instruction is English, successfully completed in the last 5 years in one of the of following countries:

  • Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Republic of Ireland, South Africa, United Kingdom and United States of America

  • Study completed in countries that don't appear in this list will be considered in a case by case basis.

Course Information

This program is for managers from a broad field of occupations who want to enhance their strategic and operational management skills. USC has two new specialist electives to the program to meet increasing job demands – Project Management and Health Sector Business Management.

In this program, you will improve your ability to evaluate business decision-making and work on real world business problems and situations. Develop important skills in managing people and teams.

The Master’s program gives you a complete theoretical foundation in all areas of management, including finance, informatics and marketing.
