Evidence of your English language proficiency can be:
Achievement of NCEA level 3 and has met New Zealand university entrance requirements; or
Completion of a Bachelor Degree, Graduate Certificate, Graduate Diploma, Bachelor Honours Degree, Postgraduate Certificate, Postgraduate Diploma, Master's Degree or Doctoral Degree with English as the language of instruction, from tertiary education providers from New Zealand, Australia, Canada, the Republic of Ireland, South Africa, the United Kingdom or the United States; or
Obtaining the Cambridge Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (CELTA) or the Trinity College London Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (Cert TESOL); or
A satisfactory result in an approved English language test, such as:
International English Language Testing System (IELTS – Academic): 6.5 overall with no sub-score less than 6.0
Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL): Score of 79 (with a writing score of 21)
Cambridge English Test: FCE with a pass at Grade A or CAE with a score of 58 or CPE with a score of 45
Pearson Test of English (Academic) – PTE: PToE (Academic) score of 58
New Zealand Certificate in English Language (NZCEL): Level 5 with the Academic endorsement
Hold a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in business or related subject OR hold a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a discipline or subject area other than business and with relevant work experience*
*2-year work experience in a Manager or Senior Manager role in accounting, finance, marketing, hospitality, information systems, general management, or similar

Programme outline
Graduates of the Postgraduate Diploma in Management will be able to:
