Joining our High School Program in Year 10 gives you time to adapt to Australian life and a new learning environment. You will be welcomed into a safe and nurturing environment to help you adapt to life in a new country. Discover a new way of learning, make new friends and begin the journey to gaining your Higher School Certificate (HSC).
The curriculum has been tailored for international students, to give you a strong academic foundation and the confidence to progress to Year 11. Year 10 students study courses from six Key Learning Areas: English, Mathematics, Science, HSIE (Human Society and its Environment), Languages and TAS (Technological and Applied Studies). Assessment in the Year 10 program is based on scheduled class examinations and a variety of other assessment tasks prepared by Internal Assessment Program.

Core classes
To study at Taylors College you will need to meet certain conditions, called entry requirements. Entry into the High School Program is based on your English language level academic qualifications.
If you don't have the required level of English, you can enrol in our Academic English Preparation (AEP) program.
