An engaging, safe and supportive learning environment
The Middle School at Concordia, encompassing Years 7 to 9, is a vibrant and supportive learning environment that provides opportunities for discovery, creativity and innovation. Excellence in the classroom is encouraged and students are challenged to engage in inquiry-based learning.
Students explore a holistic view of learning as part of the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (IB MYP). Key learning areas challenge students to explore specific knowledge and skills, while developing higher order thinking skills, and the ability to identify connections between what is being studied and how it can be applied within the immediate and wider world context.
We are committed to providing the highest quality teaching and care to allow our Middle Years’ students to be engaged and successful learners, and to develop confidence, resilience, and respect for others.
Beyond the classroom, students are encouraged to participate fully in College life, through involvement in sports, music, clubs and service to the wider community.
