Course Information

Redefine the digital and physical landscapes. The combined Bachelor of Advanced Computing and Bachelor of Science program will develop your technical skills in computing while cultivating your expertise in scientific enquiry. Underpinned by critical analytical and leadership skills, you will be positioned to transform our world for the better.

With new fields and industries rapidly emerging, there is an enormous opportunity for innovation and development in today's world. The Bachelor of Advanced Computing is provisionally accredited by the Australian Computer Society and designed to foster your ability to work across the computing, information technology and business innovation industries.

First year covers the core skills you will need to become a computing professional before you specialise in a major that aligns with your preferred career pathway computer science, information systems, software development and computational data science.

Complementing your computing studies, the Bachelor of Science emphasises fundamental principles and discovery research underpinned by critical thinking and analytical capabilities.

You can major in one or two areas of science, with elective units allowing you the flexibility to explore different branches and interests. We offer more than 50 study areas, taking you from the microscopic to the cosmic, from biological to physical and chemical processes and preventing diseases in humans, animals and plants.

You can complete this combined degree program in five years of full-time study, after which you will graduate with two qualifications, ready for a diverse range of careers. The opportunities to revolutionise our world are in your hands.
