Course Information

This course is designed to get you to think for yourselves and debate and converse with your course leader and colleagues on contemporary issues that are pertinent to the current practice of marketing. If we reflect on the quote by Einstein (“It is the supreme art of the teacher to awaken joy in creative expression and knowledge”) – you will get some idea of the ethos behind the course and the approach to teaching. I firmly believe that the onus of teaching and learning is on the student – and that the lecturer should act as a guide in this journey. I do not mean to say that the lecturer is passive in this journey, indeed, I believe that she should be passionate about what they do, so that the ‘creative expression and knowledge’ can be awakened in her students. Essentially, I feel that it is my job to make the course as interesting and enjoyable as possible, but, it is your job to do the work, bring along your own enthusiasm and enquiring minds and work towards the common goal of success.
