Pre-requisites
Subject pre-requisites: English (Units 3 & 4, C), Mathematical Methods (Units 3 & 4, C), or equivalent
You are required to satisfy the applicable English language requirements. This program requires a minimum of IELTS 6.0 or equivalent.

Already hold a Diploma through TAFE or experience through work? Then fast track your degree with recognition of prior learning.
Why Infrastructure Management Engineering?
With USQ’s Bachelor of Engineering Science, you have the opportunity to build upon the experience you have had working in the trade industry or begin study in the area of Infrastructure Management and start off your career in construction. Combine engineering construction and management and study areas from law and finance to construction technology and engineering, with the ability to complete your course within three years and become a successful Engineering Technologist.
With focus upon the study of management skills, construction technology, problem solving, law, health and safety, finance, engineering sciences and the principles and practice of modern construction project management; you will be prepared to work as a Building and Construction Manager or Construction Technologist in construction and consulting engineering through the areas of including local and other Government authorities, councils and roads and transport.
Professional accreditation
As a graduate of the Bachelor of Engineering Science, you will eligible to apply for membership with Engineers Australia as an Engineering Technologist. After gaining experience from working in the field, you can apply for chartered status as an Engineering Technologist.

Upon completion, you will be prepared to work as a Building and Construction Manager or Construction Technologist on major infrastructure projects involving construction and maintenance of roads, bridges, buildings, water supply schemes, industrial and manufacturing plants, airports, tunnels and dams.
