Entry requirements

  • Official High School Transcripts.
  • Letter of Recommendation (Optional): One letter of recommendation from a teacher or counselor where you are currently enrolled or most recently attended.

English requirements

  • A minimum score of 460 on the evidence-based reading and writing section of the SAT is required.
  • A minimum score of 19 on the English section of the ACT is required.
  • The La Verne identification code for the TOEFL is 4381. A minimum score of 80 with acceptable bandwith scores is required.
  • A minimum score of 6.5 on the IELTS with acceptable bandwith scores is required.

Course Information

Psychology is an overwhelmingly popular undergraduate major. At the University of La Verne, the Psychology program boasts one of the largest majors on campus with over 300 students. While a tremendously varied field, Psychology has as its goal the development of knowledge about human behavior and the training of applied strategies and skills to improve the lives of individuals in a diverse society.
