Gain skills for a career in metal fabrication and engineering
When you complete the Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade, you will have the skills required to work in the metals and engineering industry. During the course you'll learn about mechanical and thermal cutting, marking out, welding principles, fabrication, forming and shaping techniques, general machining, computing and computer-aided drafting, and workplace safety.
Experienced teachers, who are experts in the field, will guide you through the program, which involves a combination of theory and practice.
This nationally recognised qualification can be completed full time in one year.
Once complete, you can extend your skills by studying Chisholm’s Diploma Of Engineering Technology or the Bachelor of Engineering Technology.
