This course gives you practical skills in building design along with an understanding of buildability issues, accurate cost forecasting, risk management and sustainable project delivery.
This program is designed to provide students with the first year units included in the Building Design Management degree. The inclusion of additional preparatory units is designed to assist students in the transition to study at University level. The Diploma is delivered via extended face to face hours in smaller learning environments.
Students who successfully complete this Diploma will articulate into the Building Design Management degree with up to one year (80 credit points) equivalent of advanced standing.
Conduct simulations of real-life building projects, learn how to work as a part of a multi-disciplinary project team and find out how to get the best outcomes no matter how complex the project.
When you successfully complete the 16-month diploma from The College, you gain guaranteed entry into the second year of the Bachelor of Building Design Management at Western Sydney University.

EXTENDED DIPLOMA PROGRAM
This 16-month program allows students to undertake course-specific preparatory units alongside the first year units of their course, which will help in developing the content knowledge and skills needed to succeed in university. After successful completion, students automatically transition into the second year of their chosen degree at Western Sydney University.
