Course Information

The world needs innovative engineering, applied science and design strategies. With the opportunity to specialise in a key program in Civil, Construction, Electrical, Mechanical or Robotic and Mechatronic engineering, you’ll be prepared to overcome the challenges of tomorrow.

This program is designed to provide students with the first year units included in the Bachelor of Engineering Science. The inclusion of additional preparatory units is designed to assist students in the transition to study at University level. The Diploma is delivered via extended face to face hours in smaller learning environments.

Students who successfully complete this Diploma will articulate into Bachelor of Engineering Science with up to one year (80 CPs) equivalent of advanced standing.

This course will position you at the forefront of technology, education, research and development. You’ll have the opportunity to develop the knowledge and practical skills to make significant contributions to Australia’s engineering industry.

When you successfully complete this 16-month diploma from The College, you gain guaranteed entry into the second year of the Bachelor of Engineering Science at Western Sydney University. After that, you might like to take on a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) – a program that’s accredited by Engineers Australia.

To apply, you don’t need an ATAR; all you need are ambition and the determination to work hard. Once you’re here, our mission is to make sure you have the supportive learning environment and flexibility you need to transform your life. That includes smaller class sizes with greater access to one-on-one teaching and support. Our Extended Diplomas also cover extra introductory units that will prepare you for success in your tertiary studies and beyond.

At The College, we’re dedicated to your success. We know that if you’re given a supportive learning environment with a dedicated team of educators, anything is possible. Our wide range of pathway options include University Foundation Studies, Extended Diplomas and Integrated Diploma/Bachelor courses. Your success starts here.
