Recognition of prior learning: You may be able to shorten the length of your chosen course by measuring skills acquired through work, life experiences or qualifications obtained from formal studies or training. AQF qualifications and statements of attainment issued by another registered training organisation will be recognised by Holmesglen.
English language proficiency equivalent to IELTS 5.5 (Academic) for entry into the course.
If you see yourself managing or working in nurseries, parks, private or community gardens and reserves, the Diploma of Horticulture is the ideal qualification.
This course offers training in a range of higher level technical skills, applicable across the breadth of the horticulture industry.
You will build your knowledge and abilities to design and implement special plan displays. You will develop your ability to consult on plant selection and landscape solutions for domestic and commercial situations.
