Entry requirements:
Foundation to Diploma: Year 11 with a 73 % average
Foundation to Bachelor: Upper Secondary Education Graduation Diploma Year 12 with 5.5 average in 4 academic subjects
English language requirements:
Higher English requirements apply for pathways to Laws, Education and some Health Science programs.

The Foundation Program is equivalent to senior high school, preparing you for success in university level studies across a broad range of fields including Arts, Commerce and Business, Design, Engineering, Health, Hotel Management, Information Technology and Science.
Foundation Program provides a bridge between secondary school and undergraduate studies. Consisting of courses equivalent to Australian Year 12, it will prepare you for entry to and success in university level studies across a broad range of fields including commerce, design, information technology, hotel management, engineering, health, science, arts and education. It is designed to adequately prepare you for entry to university-level programs across a broad range of study areas.

Trimester 2
Select two electives for each trimester: Accounting, Advanced mathematics, Chemistry, Essential mathematics, Biology or Human Biology, Introduction to systems analysis, Management, Marketing, Media studies, Study of society.
Electives may not all be available in all trimesters. Some fields of study require students to choose specific electives
If you do not meet the English language requirements you can undertake an English intensive course at Griffith English Language Institute (GELI) prior to commencing your Griffith College program.
The Direct Entry Program is your pathway to a Griffith University degree or Griffith College diploma. Build your English skills in reading, writing, listening and speaking, and at higher levels, practise academic skills. You won’t need to submit an English test score if you complete this program at the English level needed for your chosen degree or diploma.
Duration: The number of weeks you undertake study depends on your current English language proficiency
Start dates: With classes starting every five weeks, you can choose to start your English classes when it suits you best.
Tuition fee: Tuition fees for the Direct Entry Program will vary depending on the number of weeks you are enrolled.
Once you successfully complete all 8 courses in the Foundation Program and meet other relevant entry criteria, you can progress to a Griffith College diploma or Griffith University bachelor degree. You can choose to pathway through a diploma to enter your bachelor degree in second year, losing no time in achieving your study goals. The Foundation to Diploma to Bachelor pathway means you continue to benefit from Griffith College’s supportive learning environment, including small class sizes and extra class hours, preparing you better for success in tertiary level studies.
