Designed for lawyers as well as non-lawyers, it underscores the rising significance of legal knowledge and business law proficiency among professionals in the business, finance, commercial and corporate worlds. You can select from over 70 units of study, one of the largest collections for a single degree within the University of Sydney Law School's postgraduate program.
You can start off with a number of fundamental or introductory units of study, suitable if you have no prior legal knowledge, providing you with an effective springboard to more complex units. You can also tailor the sequencing of these units to your particular needs, as well to your preferred knowledge and experience. In terms of content, you have the opportunity to undertake rigorous and challenging specialist units relevant to domestic and international tax, commercial contracts, banking and finance, insolvency, trusts, secured transactions, investment, arbitration, competition law and international transactions.
You can experience delivery of these units in weekly evening classes during semester and, throughout the year, on an intensive basis over four or five days. Intensive units are especially popular and provide an excellent opportunity to experience teaching by international visitors and give you the chance to benefit from a scholastic atmosphere away from the demands of your day to day professional life.
