Admission Requirements

Entry requirements

  • 3-year Bachelor degree from an Australian university or equivalent. 
  • or
  • equivalent professional work experience, as determined through the Credit and Exemption procedure.

 

English language requirements

You are required to satisfy the applicable English language requirements and this degree requires a minimum of IELTS 6.5 or equivalent. If you do not meet the English language requirements you may apply to study a University-approved English language program.

 

Recognition of prior learning or work experience

If you have previously studied in your home country, you may be eligible for recognition of prior learning to reduce the number of courses that you need to study to finish your program.

  • With a focus on climatology, ecology and conservation, the Graduate Diploma of Science (Environment and Sustainability) is designed for those of you wanting to understand more about major environmental issues and the social, political and environmental implications of human impacts on biodiversity and the environment in the 21st century.

This qualification is also ideal for those wishing to move into further study. Upon successful completion of the Graduate Diploma of Science, you have the potential to move into the Master of Science coursework degree if you meet other requirements for entry.
