Before enrolling for this Degree, you shall:
meet the University admission requirements as specified, and shall have:
been awarded or qualified for the Bachelor of Education with a grade average in the highest level courses of at least a B, or equivalent; or
been awarded or qualified for any other Bachelors degree with a grade average in the highest level courses of at least a B, or equivalent, and hold a professional qualification in teaching; or
been awarded or qualified for any other Bachelors degree with a grade average in the highest level courses of at least a B, or equivalent, and have professional experience relevant to the intended postgraduate subject; or
been awarded a Postgraduate Diploma in Education, or equivalent, with a grade average across all courses of at least B (Coursework pathway) or at least a B+ (Research pathway).
Along with certified copies of academic transcripts and certificates, you may be required to provide evidence of sufficient background experience. If you hold any other Bachelors degree or equivalent and have no professional qualification in teaching you will need to provide a copy of your curriculum vitae (CV) to support your application.
Your qualification includes 90 credit Thesis or 45 credit Professional Inquiry pathway. As there is more than one option, you will be asked to indicate the number of credits of research you intend to complete. If you intend to do the Research Pathway (90 credit thesis) please provide a short summary of your research interests (200 words or less) with your application.
Students from a country where English is not the first language, must obtain a minimum English Language competency level.
IELTS: 6.5 (no band less than 6.0)
TOEFL iBT: 90 overall (min 20 in Writing)
PTE Academic: 58 Overall (min 50 in communicative skills)
