Admission Requirements

Entry requirements

  • Australian university three year Bachelor degree in engineering science or engineering technology in the relevant specialisation area, or equivalent.
  • A minimum of five years' relevant professional work experience.
  • Must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident; citizen of New Zealand or holder of a valid visa with a duration of at least three years.

 

English language requirements

You are required to satisfy the applicable English language requirements and this degree requires a minimum of IELTS 6.5 or equivalent. If you do not meet the English language requirements you may apply to study a University-approved English language program.

 

Recognition of prior learning or work experience

If you have previously studied in your home country, you may be eligible for recognition of prior learning to reduce the number of courses that you need to study to finish your program.

 

Course Information

  • Extend on your knowledge in civil engineering with further studies in areas such as transport engineering, hydraulics and geo-technical engineering.
  • Customise your degree and explore public health engineering, water resource management, waste treatment, pavement design and analysis, road and street engineering, or transport networks.
