The M.Sc. Medical Physics is a clinically oriented programme designed specifically for those aiming to enter the Medical Physics healthcare profession or work as a research medical physicist in research laboratories or the biomedical industry. Students will acquire knowledge and cognitive and practical skills through the study of course material, participation in discussions, demonstrations of practical onsite medical physics and radiation protection practices and a research project. The study unit content ranges from traditional medical physics topics such as medical radiation physics to topical subjects such as machine learning and pattern recognition and legal and professional issues.
