The University has a vision to become a "world-class university in Asia for professional leadership and development activities, international management education". The school is recognized worldwide, where business programs are in the top 5% of the world (AACSB certification).
Sol International School (SIS) was created in 2014, as a result of Woosong University’s "Global Initiative" to fulfil global educational needs. SIS offers six English-instructed specialized international programs in the fields of Culinary Arts (SICA), Hotel Management (SIHOM), Medical Services Management (SIMED), Railroad Integrated Systems (SIRA), Restaurant & Food Service Entrepreneurship (SIRES) and Media & Communications Arts (SIMA), for the completion of four-year Bachelor’s Degrees in each program. Two-year Associate’s Degrees are also offered in Hotel Management and Culinary Arts.
SIS is supported by faculty members having a rich industrial and academic expertise, state-of-the-art facilities, and cutting-edge technologies that are aimed at nurturing the next generation of global leaders in offered fields.

Woosong University is conveniently located near the heart of the city and is one of the most modern and attractive campuses in Korea, boasting many indoor & outdoor facilities: modern/smart classrooms, computer labs, library, auditoriums, restaurants, coffee shops and fitness centers and more. Restaurants, shopping and entertainment areas are within walking distance of our new SIS headquarters pictured at left.
Student services
Sol International Student Services is available to assist students with their fee payments, scholarships, banking, medical insurance and medical services, visa applications, driver’s license and vehicle registrations, residence affairs, print cards, meals, and part-time job opportunities on campus.
