Admission Requirements

Entry requirements

  • Students who have successfully completed Lincoln University's Diploma in Horticulture will be admitted to the Diploma in Horticultural Management. Equivalent qualifications will be assessed for admission on a case-by-case basis.
  •  Pass 120 credits: Horticultural Management (60 credits) plus 60 credits from elective schedule of courses.

English requirements

  • IELTS: 6.0 overall, with no individual component less than 5.5
  • TOEFL iBT: Overall score of 60 (with at least 18 in writing)
  • Cambrige English: Advanced (CAE) and First (FCE): Overall score of 169, with no individual component less than 162
  • Pearson Test of English PTE: 50 overall score - with no communicative skill less than 42

Course Information

The Diploma in Horticultural Management prepares students for management of modern horticultural enterprises. The emphasis on business management combined with horticulture and production courses makes this diploma highly relevant and immediately applicable to the work place. It is possible to take this diploma either on or off the Lincoln campus.
