Pulteney’s Early Learning Centre (ELC) is a nurturing, play-based environment where children feel safe, supported and inspired to explore. Our preschool programs for 3- and 4-year-olds are guided by the Reggio Emilia philosophy, encouraging curiosity, creativity and connection through learning experiences that respond to each child’s strengths and interests.

Featuring an award-winning nature play space and recently selected for the State Government’s Flying Start for Kids initiative, our ELC is proudly recognised as a leader in early childhood education.

How is the day structured in the ELC?

With degree-qualified Early Childhood Teachers in every room, supported by experienced Diploma and Certificate III educators, our teacher-led model ensures that your child will experience the very best in early years education.

The educational program offered in our ELC is inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach and runs from 8.15am to 3.30pm. An extended care program is offered from 7.30am – 8.15am, and 3.30pm – 6.00pm.

Our staff ratios exceed the 1:11 Government requirement.
