Western Washington University - Everett Campus

There are 16 residence halls and one apartment complex across three regions of Western’s campus: North Campus, Ridgeway Complex, and South Campus. North Campus is located the closest to the International Study Center, and can be reached in about a five minute walk. South Campus is the furthest from central campus, but will only take about 10 minutes to walk to your classes. The entirety of Western's campus is only a 20 minute walk from end to end, so no matter which residence hall you choose you will still be close to campus activities and close to your classes.

The building layouts are designed in two ways:

• Corridor Style - rooms line a central hallway and residents share one or two large bathrooms; a traditional style that makes it easy to meet people.
• Suite Style - two to five rooms with a shared bathroom; promotes strong relationships between roommates and suitemates.

North Campus residence halls are located close to Viking Union, where you can meet with students to relax, eat, or meet with your club. Just a short walk away is Viking Commons, Red Square, and Wilson Library.

Students requesting accommodations in University Residences must complete both a Housing application and a request with DAC. Requests should adhere to housing deadlines and priority dates. Requests submitted after fall quarter deadlines, and all requests made for winter/spring quarters, will be processed as soon as space becomes available, but may be added to a waitlist.

Western Washington University participates in Federal, State, and Institutional work study programs. Work study offers the opportunity to work part-time. This provides help paying your educational expenses while gaining experience and job skills associated with your academic major or career interests. If you receive work study funding, use the Student Employment Center’s job listings to help you find a work study job that fits your interests. Your work study job will provide you with a paycheck like any other part-time employment. Although work study earnings are subject to federal income tax like other jobs, they are excluded from the student contribution calculation (the student portion of the EFC). You must maintain at least half-time enrollment status to remain eligible for work study employment.
