Admission Requirements

Entry requirement

  • Grade 12 graduation or equivalent.

  • International applicants must be 17 years of age or older or a graduate of a secondary school

  • A tested keyboarding speed of a minimum of 25 gross words per minute on a 5-minute test with a maximum of 5 errors using the touch-typing method (using the appropriate fingers for each key on the keyboard and not looking at your fingers as you type)

English requirement

Course Information

Students learn secretarial skills, the latest advances in office technology, and are trained to work as administrative assistants in a variety of industries. From effective oral and written communications and time management techniques to the latest computer word processing, spreadsheet, and graphics software, students also learn practical skills working alone and in groups. Lessons include videos, demonstrations, guest lectures, and field trips as well as real work experience.
