If ensuring patients have a safe and secure surgical experience, and if working in an operating room with state-of-the-art equipment alongside talented colleagues excites you, then Fanshawe’s Anesthesia Assistant graduate certificate program will get you on your way. You’ll perform simulations in a brand new mock operating room, using the latest and most advanced equipment. You'll also complete clinical placements in London-area hospitals to prepare you for work as a valuable member of any hospital's anesthesia care team.
When you graduate, you'll be ready to put your specialized, sought-after skills to work in hospital operating rooms across Canada, as well as in post-operative care, labour and delivery, emergency, and intensive care.
As well, the program offers a flexible delivery format allowing you to attend classes one day each week during the first two terms, so you won’t have to drop everything to make your career goals a reality.
