International baccalaureate: 24 Points
Cultivate your business expertise and equip yourself with the practical skills employers are seeking. You will develop a rounded business skill set and you will learn about key business functions. Option modules will then enable you to refine your expertise in a number of these key areas to match your interests and career aspirations. Taking up the option of a placement will give you valuable professional experience of industry and a head start in the competitive world of business.
This course offers the opportunity to take a ‘sandwich’ year – a year of paid employment in industry which will build your skills and experience. This is usually taken between the second and third year of your degree, typically making your course four years in total. Students who choose the sandwich route find it helps with both their studies and getting a job after graduation. It can build your confidence, contacts, and of course your CV.
