The Bachelor of Film and Video provides you with knowledge and skills in video production with sound, lighting and production processes along with post-production workflows focusing on video editing, colour grading, sound and motion graphic design suitable for a broad range of motion design related sectors and employment opportunities. The specialisation connects practical skills with the study of moving image design, film, television and media theory, and the study of professional practice in motion design workplaces. The course structure incorporates industry-informed briefs, industry mentors, client projects, internship opportunities and study of emerging areas of motion design practice. In this way you’ll have the opportunity to pair a well-rounded motion design generalist knowledge base with further focused niche skills development in a motion design specialist area.

Throughout this course, you’ll work with other students on a diverse range of projects, exploring pre-production planning, motion graphic design and digital video production. You’ll explore the theory and context of design, film, TV and animation. Many of our graduates work in leading digital media firms, TV stations and media production companies.
