Course Information

Throughout the course you will gain broad, integrated spatial design knowledge and skills with depth in the underlying practices, forms, technologies and techniques of commercial interior design. You will discover how commercial interior-design strategies are developed and assessed, as well as practical industry-based management skills, such as documentation, contract management, professional design practice and cross-disciplinary interaction. Using industry standard software, you’ll build the skills to communicate information that’s relevant to designing, costing and constructing interiors, and find out how to represent spatial environments. The course engages you in contemporary theory and provides an overview of the leading interior design trends and a look towards the future.
