Course Information

The Integrated Science, IS, program provides a strong science education with an interdisciplinary component. The program offers flexibility in course selection to independently motivate students who have cross-disciplinary interests. IS offers appropriate preparation for many professional degree programs (e.g., in Health Sciences, Education, Law, Journalism, programs) as well as for graduate programs.

Through Integrated Science, our students develop a large suite of transferrable skills, including research methods, laboratory and field techniques, teamwork, critical thinking, problem solving, numerical and statistical techniques, planning, organization, and written and oral communication skills. These skills are especially important for careers in scientific research and the medical professions. We at Madonna University provide our integrated Science students with an all-encompassing science program to be able to meet the demands of increasing modern science teaching at the secondary and/or high school levels.

The research and laboratories endeavors allow the students to be able to create laboratory exercises that would be suitable in their future schools for their students using laboratory and lecture knowledge they gain here at Madonna University.
