The Department of Political Science and Diplomacy, established in 1981 under the College of Social Sciences, is dedicated to educating students in a variety of theories and practices. This curriculum equips students with the ability to analyze and understand major phenomena scientifically. Our goal is to cultivate knowledge that can comprehensively understand the domestic and international context, thereby contributing thoughtfully to the future of Korea. In particular, the department pays great attention to nurturing professional women who will become leaders in various fields of our rapidly developing society.
Therefore, the department's curriculum is designed to equip students with specialized professional skills and the depth of understanding needed to analyze and understand political symbols. In addition, the department promotes in-depth understanding and active participation in professional fields by operating departmental academic clubs such as the 'Mock Assembly Preparation Committee', 'HanAeum', and 'Korean Public Diplomacy Research Society'. Furthermore, the department offers a variety of scholarship programs. This program not only provides extensive learning opportunities with financial support, ensuring that economic hardships do not hinder the learning process, but also facilitates students to participate in overseas training programs. This approach is a testament to our dedication to enhancing students' professional competence in the era of globalization.
