The Department of Economics was established in 1982 and has been operating since then, providing practical guide to students for their career choices through computer labs and career guidance seminars at the Economic Research Institute and Economic Data Analysis Center. Economics is called the queen of social sciences. In daily life, there is no activity that is not related to the economy, and an understanding of economic theory is essential for studying adjacent disciplines such as business administration, political science, law, history, home economics, geography, etc. Accordingly, the goal of this department is to provide students with a balanced education in the fundamental and applied fields of economics so that they can analyze economic reality accurately. To this end, we also provide inter-discipline courses of international trade, finance, and taxation to expand the horizons of practical knowledge of economics.
