Course Information

Machines continue to shape our world in remarkable and complex ways. Their design, maintenance and function relies on skilled professionals. If this type of dynamic, in-demand career excites you, or if you want to explore a diverse range of professional options, the Electromechanical Engineering Technician (Co-op) program will provide the skills to give your dreams the jolt they need.

You’ll begin by studying electrical and mechanical principles through a variety of electromechanical courses, which will allow you to analyze, modify, maintain and repair electromechanical systems. You’ll also learn project management skills, and the ins and outs of mechanical prints, tolerances, and the mechanical nuances of a system, along with Automation, Robotics and controls in our electromechanical engineering program. Because the range of skills needed for success in the modern economy are diverse, you’ll also study reason and writing, and you’ll be able to enhance your communication skills in the lab with your instructors and classmates. And because you’ve chosen the Co-op component, you’ll put your skills to the test in a real working environment to complement the theoretical learning in your electromechanical courses, enhancing your diploma.

You’ll also earn a FANUC Robotics, Certified Education Robot Training.

At the end of the day, the modern world relies on machines, and skilled professionals to design and maintain them. Are you ready to take your skills to another level?
