You will gain a balance of analytical, entrepreneurial and engineering skills on this engineering technology degree by studying subjects from computer-aided design to mathematics for engineering systems. Optional specialist modules cover subjects such as power engineering and thermo-fluid applications.
Graduates from this course have become engineering professionals, managers and senior officials, and pursued careers in IT and telecommunications. Positions are available across a wide range of companies, or you could start your own business as a technologist or consultant.

Students go to a range of companies and organisations of varying sizes for their placements, including large multi-national firms, government agencies, the NHS and small to medium sized companies engaged in research, analytical services and manufacturing.
