Course Information

New Zealand law requires that any hospitality business selling alcohol on its premises has a qualified duty manager on-site at all times.

This short Licence Controller Qualification programme covers the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act (2012) and its implications for licensed premises, as well as the host responsibility requirements as a duty manager of licensed premises. An LCQ is the approved prerequisite qualification for anyone applying for or renewing a Duty/General Manager’s Certificate.
