Admission Requirements

Entry requirements:

Admission to the Master of Biomedical Science (Genomics and Precision Medicine) requires:

  • A bachelor’s degree with honours in science, medical or veterinary science, biomedical science, health science or a health-related discipline;
  • Or a bachelor plus a postgraduate degree in a science, medical or veterinary science, biomedical science, health science, or a health-related discipline;
  • Or a pass bachelor degree in a science, medical or veterinary science, biomedical science, health science or a health-related discipline with minimum of 24 months relevant work experience
  • Or completion of embedded Graduate Certificate or Graduate Diploma. 

English requirements:

  • IELTS Academic: A minimum result of 7.0 overall and a minimum result of 6.5 in each band
  • TOEFL iBT: A minimum result of 96 overall including a minimum result of 20 in Reading, Listening and Speaking and 22 in Writing
  • TOEFL PBT score: A minimum result of 592 overall including a minimum result of 5.0 in Writing
  • PTE Academic: A minimum result of 68 overall and a minimum result of 61 in each band
