
Admission to the Fudan dual degree pathway is a joint decision made by both institutions. The University of Sydney admission requires:
A bachelor’s degree with a major in Economics, Econometrics or Financial Economics from the University of Sydney, or equivalent qualification
English language proficiency requirements as indicated in the entry requirements
In addition to the supplementary application form and the above documents, Fudan University also requires:
IELTS Academic: A minimum result of 7.0 overall and a minimum result of 6.0 in each band
TOEFL iBT: A minimum result of 96 overall including a minimum result of 17 in Reading, Listening and Speaking and 19 in Writing
PTE Academic: A minimum result of 68 overall and a minimum result of 54 in each band
Duration: 2 years full time (requires 1+1 years of full time study comprised of 2 years in the Master of Economics, University of Sydney and 1 year in the Master's program, Fudan University China. The attendance pattern for the dual degree is full-time only. Available to Domestic and International Students.

The Sydney-Fudan dual degree is a unique program that offers you the opportunity to study at two leading universities in two vibrant international cities.*
First, you will study at the University of Sydney, where you will undertake
rigorous academic training in economic principles, data analysis, and communication in economics.
You will then study at Fudan University in Shanghai, where you will complete English-taught elective units on China’s economy, financial system, and national policies. You will also complete a master’s thesis.
Upon completion, you will be awarded a Master of Economics from the University of Sydney and a Master in World Economy (Globalisation and Chinese Economy) from Fudan University
