To be eligible for admission, an applicant is required to have:
an Australian Bachelor of Engineering degree in the relevant discipline with a credit average (65 percent) or equivalent qualification or
an Australian Bachelor of Engineering degree in the relevant discipline or equivalent, and five years relevant professional work experience or
the relevant University of Sydney Graduate Diploma or Graduate Certificate in Engineering with a credit average (65 percent).
IELTS Academic: A minimum result of 6.5 overall and a minimum result of 6.0 in each band
TOEFL iBT: A minimum result of 85 overall including a minimum result of 17 in Reading, Listening and Speaking and 19 in Writing
PTE Academic: A minimum result of 61 overall and a minimum result of 54 in each band
If you are a qualified engineer seeking to move into a management role or to specialise or update your skills, the Master of Engineering will build on your engineering undergraduate degree. You’ll develop specialised technical knowledge in mechanical engineering, gaining an advanced understanding of the design of mechanical components, whole machines, mechanical systems and mechanical processes.
