Admission Requirements

Entry requirements

  • You must possess a Nursing Studies Diploma of Higher Education or an equivalent qualification and current nursing registration in your own country which is equivalent to the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) registration.

English requirements

  • If your first language is not English, you will need to meet the minimum requirements of an English Language qualification. The minimum of IELTS 6.5 overall with no element lower than 6.0, or equivalent will be considered acceptable.

Course Information

This course enables internationally qualified nurses to top-up their current nursing qualification to degree level and maximise opportunities for career progression. It ultimately facilitates the professional development of international nurses enabling them to return to their home country and improve service provision and patient outcomes.

  • The course will assist you in developing your critical thinking skills and your understanding of the application of evidence–based practice.
