Course Information

You can develop your people skills and prepare for a career in tourism marketing, management or enterprise by studying a tourism management degree.

Our tourism management degree is designed to meet the demands of an industry which is flourishing. Tourism is one of the fastest growing business sectors in the world, and the UK alone employs around 2.6 million people in the industry.

You'll be taught ways of applying sustainable principles to the development of tourism. You'll also gain skills and knowledge in areas such as tourism marketing, human resource management, innovation, product development and destination planning. You may be able to participate in the Erasmus+ student exchange programme.

Popular areas for careers in tourism management include tourism marketing, destination management and tourism policy, and tour operator businesses. Graduates can also launch their own tourism enterprises.
