Course Information

As a political science major at Lynn University, you'll advance your understanding of political processes, structures and functions at the local, regional, national and global levels. You'll learn this on a campus where students represent more than 90 countries, so political science can more easily be understood as a function of the cultural, political and social diversity of the world.

In this B.A. in political science program, you’ll explore areas such as government and leadership, political theories and ideologies, global human rights, public economy and public policy. Plus, with our longstanding collaboration with the Washington Internship Institute in Washington, D.C., you may be eligible for a full semester’s internship and integrated coursework in the U.S. capital.

As a political science major, you’ll learn

  • Critical and independent thinking about politics, history and international affairs

  • Government and leadership, political theories and ideologies

  • Global human rights, public economy and public policy
