All applicants must have a level of English sufficient to be able to study at this level. Those students whose first language is not English should have:

You will gain these key transferable skills along with business knowledge in your chosen area of interest and have the opportunity to practise in real-life scenarios through our Merging Futures programme.
From day one, you will apply what you learn to real-world scenarios. You will spend part of your time in a traditional classroom environment and the rest working through challenges as part of a business team. Organising events, balancing project budgets, negotiating contracts are just some examples of the skills you will be practising.
Whats new
NMIT have been offering a Bachelor of Commerce since 1993. The current qualification, remodelled in 2019, builds upon years of successful delivery and industry engagement. We are committed in ensuring our Bachelor of Commerce remains applied and relevant to the needs of modern business environment. The programme takes the opportunity to employ a range of Applied Learning activities e.g. Project/problem based learning, simulated business scenarios, flipped learning, case studies etc. to ensure our learners are ready to hit the ground running when they graduate.
Three majors to choose from
In the first year of the degree you will complete four compulsory courses, and four courses in either Leadership and Management or Accounting.
In years two and three you will specialise in your chosen major; Accounting, Management or Marketing. Add six months full time to complete a second major.
