The Bachelor of Social Work qualification will provide you with the core professional competencies and attributes required to enter the social work profession.

In doing so, you will be awarded a provisional registration at the level of a beginning practitioner. This is the first step to becoming a fully registered social worker after completing two years of supervised practice.

Field placement is a significant element in this programme which will enable you to get firsthand experience through voluntary work and supervised placements in a social service agency.

You will also develop a range of flexible skills and professional attributes which will position you well to be responsive to and to work collaboratively within the increasingly complex and interdisciplinary social service and health communities.
