As a prospective Bachelor's student you must have a diploma of higher secondary education that is equivalent to Dutch standards. In order to be admitted to Fontys University of Applied Sciences students must be eligible for higher education through a diploma of secondary education / high school diploma with good results. This means:
For Dutch students: VWO-, HAVO- or MBO-diploma
For German students: Fachabitur or Abitur (Fachhochschulreife or Allgemeine Hochschulreife)
For students of other nationalities, here are some examples of accepted diplomas:
senior high school diploma, which generally grants access to a Bachelor programme in the country of issue
General Certificate of Secondary Education in 4 subjects with marks ranging from A-C, plus a General Certificate of Education with 2 subjects at advanced subsidiary level

American High School Diploma (AP courses are strongly recommended)

Besides your diploma, it is required to provide us with additional academic qualifications about economics. Moreover, it is recommended to have background knowledge in mathematics. E.g. additional courses, workshops, projects, participation in competitions. Your qualifications will be assessed by the Admission Officer of the specific study programme.

In other words, all products around you went through different small steps before they ended up with the person that finally bought them. Logistics is all around us. Look at e-commerce companies like Amazon, Zalando, or Alibaba. Look at factories producing smartphones. Look at all the activities taking place at airports. So many exciting things that are connected to logistics!
As a Logistics Management student you learn to evaluate logistical processes, monitor performance, negotiate with external and internal partners, and optimize processes. Next to learning about logistical and supply chain processes you get a helicopter view of what is going on in companies, which makes it easier for you to see connections and communicate with other departments.
