Admission Requirements

Entry Requirements

Satisfactory completion of Year 12 or overseas equivalent OR

English Requirements

Academic IELTS score of 6.0 Overall with minimum of 5.5 in all bands or equivalent.

Other Requirements

  • Certificate IV or higher in a Hospitality, Tourism or Events related area OR

  • Successful completion of the Diploma of Hospitality, Tourism or Events related area (credit will apply)

  • Indian, Pakistani, Bangladeshi and Nepalese students need satisfactory completion of Year 12 or overseas equivalent 60% in the top 4 subjects (excluding native language) for all courses (i.e. Cert III, Cert IV, Diploma, Advanced Diploma and Associate Degree) If student has needed to re-sit for their exam, student also need to provide all exam results. Not accepting Punjab State Board or Haryana State Board HS results only – need to present a Central Board result exam or a higher

Description

Qualifications & Skills Covered

This qualification provides students with relevant transferable business skills in areas such as Strategic Planning, Finance, Marketing, International Human Resource Management, Business Research and Business Ethics. The course also provides students with work placement, project opportunities and live cases so skills are put into practice to address current and future needs of the Hospitality, Tourism and Events industry. To complete the qualification you are required to complete all 16 core units and 8 elective units.

Course Notes

  • Students will receive credit of up to one year credit (depending on electives chosen) into of the Bachelor of Tourism, Hospitality & Events Management following the successful completion of the Diploma of Hospitality or Events or Tourism Management.
