Standard entry requirements apply. A typical offer would be BCC at A-Level or DMM at BTEC. Applicants will be expected to have achieved GCSE Mathematics (or equivalent) at grade C/4 or above. Our specialist Computer Systems Engineering degree will give you the technical understanding of computer systems and the skills you need to become an embedded designer. During your study you will develop your independent thinking and flexibility within computer systems design, development and operation, as well as an appreciation of the importance computer systems have in the wider industry.
Computer Systems play an important role in today’s society. They are key for making devices interact and enabling people to communicate quickly and securely. The industry impacts people’s daily lives and businesses, and continues to grow and evolve. You will investigate the wide reaching influences that computers and computing technology have on the world, whilst also making your own contributions to help you find your place within the industry.
